What was the best dieting advice someone gave to you?

Stop comparing your metabolism to someone else’s

A dieting gem from my high school days — this one from my mom. I was upset that a friend of mine was still able to eat whatever she wanted, while I started gaining weight whenever I even thought about pasta. My mom told me that my metabolism isn’t the same as everyone else’s, and that I had to take care of my own body. While this disappointed me at first, it taught me at a young age how to eat better for myself. It also gave me more time to find a food regimen that worked best for me.

Just do what is good for U!

Simple as that :)
